Home is where the Heart is!

I'm so excited to show everyone our home so far, but first a little story... Saturday morning we had our appointment to check into our new apartment @ 10. Before we could check in we had to get Griffin to his orientation for work (he works at the school cafeteria as the quesadilla man) @ 8:30 which felt like the crack of dawn since we had been traveling the day before. So after I dropped Griffin off he calls me 10 minutes later to tell me we need to go to the store and get pants and shoes for work. This wasn't good because he wasn't expecting to work and that means I would have to do the walk through of the apartment and unload the van and trailer by myself and I was already so tired. I felt so bad for Griffin too since he drove the whole 15 hours to Rexburg and now he was going to have to work. Anyway Griff and I got everything he needed for work and I dropped him off. I headed to the Village apartments and started writing checks and signing last minute papers, and then it was time for the walkthrough and suddenly my phone is ringing! It was Griffin! He tells me the power was out on his Grill so he needed me to come pick him up. I was so excited we would get to do the walkthrough together! We were so excited as soon as we walked through the door! We finished unpacking the van and Griffin's friend Brent and his sweet wife Janice show up to help. We didn't even know how they found us, turns out long story short Brent called Griffin's mom and figured out where we were! That was two blessings in a row! We did so much on Saturday to get ourselves set up and even on the way, we loaded a trailer and van full, drove really slow with the trailer, had a crazy morning, unpacked everything, strapped our bed on top of the van, set it all up, shopped, shopped and more shopping. I think finally today we have pretty much everything we need minus some wall art. Anyway pictures!!!

okay so I'm standing in our room to the left is the bathroom, the door you see on the left is the "coat closet"
and the Front door is hiding next to the coat closet.

Steph, I think from these pictures you can see all the storage we have for the kitchen tools, pans, stone, etc., you gave us we are happily using many pieces already! Thank you! We didn't have to put and cookware in storage!

Mmm...Cornbread!

Thanks for the birdhouse mom!
This kitchen is perfect for Griffin! there is so much space.

I love our adorable lemon towels!
(Thank you Sally and Jody)

I'm in love with this adorable table Griffin's Aunt Julie gave to us while we visited in Washington,
we can also make it bigger!

These chairs! Julie says they are from the 1800's very cool.
They are from Romania too!
I don't know who gave us this tray, I wanted so bad... I just want to say I love it!
 Thank you!

We need something on that wall...

We have a nice little storage room right outside!

Griffin's desk. he really wanted a desk and I wasn't sure it would happen right away until Target had a great price and a really cool comfy chair! oh thank you for the carpet mom it is great!
Could this spot be anymore perfect for our gorgeous dresser (mom) and TV?

I want to get some really good looking fake flowers but for now popery!
We have some pretty cute sheets and great textures going on I wish Griff wasn't sleeping so I could snap a pic.
I'm going to go get a pic he is out!
Once upon a time I had this gold frame in my Juicy Couture room and mom was going to have cute text put in it well the text didn't turn out right sooo Paula saw it and saaid we should spray paint it so it looks like a vintage mirror! GREAT idea!
Griffin picked/found 2 of the 3 the pillows!
Mission accomplished!

still have a bit of organizing but I'm really proud I didn't use a fun bar and I put Griffin's cloths on the bigger bar he deserves it <3
